*sigh* WOW! *sigh*
This past weekend a group of ladies, including myself, went to Indianapolis for a Women of Faith conference. It was an amazing weekend full of tears, laughter, inspiration, and fellowship. Oh, and the food...who can forget about food!
Something that I found myself thinking about in awe was the fact that in a fieldhouse full of 7,000 ladies, God spoke to me. Isn't that amazing! He showed me a lot this past weekend. Some sore spots, some pats of encouragement, some reminders, and a few yanks back onto the straight and narrow. Regardless of what it was, it was all wrapped in love. He even left a couple things unanswered that I continue to be in prayer until it's time for the answer to be revealed. As that time passes, I will learn to stay strong in my faith and in my trust for my Heavenly Father.
I encourage you to check out the speakers from this past weekend (Sheila Walsh, Dr. Henry Cloud, Nicole Johnston, Angie Smith). We all know how amazing Natalie Grant's voice is. She absolutely stole the show. What was so breath taking was her ability to move hearts by simply putting herself out there, alone, signing 'It is Well'. She sang this with no music, and with emotion. I honestly can't even put the moment into words.
Anyway, I have a fire that is in my heart for something and I have no idea how to get started with putting it in motion. Having to leave it all with God and wait.
There is more on my heart to say, but I just can't find the words for it. So until then...
