Well, last Friday morning I noticed that I lost my plug and have begun having contractions throughout the week. Kenny gets a little uneasy when I tell him at the end of the day that I was having contractions. The other evening he went into the kitchen to get a drink and apparently there was some water on the floor. He hollared at me, asking if my water had broke and I just forgot to tell him! LOL I can't express how hilarious the moment was!
Then there is Jonathan who shared with me yesterday morning that he didn't want to go hear the heart beat; he just wants Rebekah to come out NOW!
Yesterday was my 37week appointment and all went well again. The three pounds that I gained at my 36 week appointment I have now lost. My appetite has definately changed in the last few weeks. I've noticed a decrease in my wanting to eat and how much I eat (despite the great Applebee's meal we had last week after our doctor's appt). I am measuring right at 37 weeks. Not sure what the doctor last week was doing, but he was definately off a week. I shared with the doctor about losing my plug. It is just unknown if I have lost all of it or part of it. She gave me instructions though, as far as if and when my contractions get more intense and more than 5 an hour than I need to be calling in.
Not much else has been going on. Just 3 more weeks until school starts for the kids here. They start on August 20th. The Missouri State Fair begins on the 13th and I am all geared up to go (especially for some fair food).
Enjoying the weather today as it is in the 70's and with a breeze. They said on the news this morning that July for this year has been the 3rd coldest July on record since 1888. WOW!! Now to see what August delivers.
