Glad this week is over

I sit here this morning totally confused as I adjust to it being Friday. I could have swore it was only Thursday! As I look back over the week to what I have done and what day I 'thought' it was...I can't help but chuckle. Today is rainy, but it is suppose to move through by noon time and warm up and become sunny again. Then another round of rain overnight tonight. Kenny will be working this holiday weekend, but maybe he can stay awake Sunday evening to take in fireworks with the rest of us. They have been going in of a morning at 5am, and this morning they went in at 6am, so we will see how that extra hour impacts him. While I thought it was Tuesday, apparently it was Wednesday when I took pizza down to the farm for everyone to eat lunch. Kenny has two employees that will be leaving after today so he wanted to do something for them. I was getting stuff together and rounding all of us up before leaving and when I went upstairs to get a box I fell and missed a couple of a steps on the stairway. My legs buckled underneath me and the box got stuck between me and the wall. I didn't hit my belly nor did the box hit against my belly hard either; just took me a minute to rearrange my body so I could give room to get the box out from between me and the wall. The kids reacted and took really good care of me! Jonathan is so caring and comforting. He asked me where it hurt and kissed my booboo's! LOL Then he made sure to take my hand and help up and help me the rest of the way down the stairs. That boy is going to really pull on some heart strings!

Kenny would have had me drive immediately to the hospital to get checked out, but I assured him I was fine. I was shaken up and a little emotional about it, but my hip was the only thing sore. The kids and I dropped off the pizza and headed to Warrensburg to return some things to WalMart and do some exploring of the area. The afternoon was cut short for us as there was a delivery for the farm that was heading to be delivered at the house and someone had to be there to sign for it. No big deal though, we still enjoyed some nice time out of the house. Later in the evening my emotions started getting the best of me and I started getting a little nervous and worried. I wasn't feeling the baby move or kick very much. I agreed to call the doctor the next morning and they indeed agreed that I needed to be monitored. Kenny came home from work after lunch yesterday and we headed to the hospital. Everything came back good and we were so relieved. Neither of us realized how stressed and worried we were until they told us that everything was fine. While at the hospital we took a tour of the Labor and Delivery and become familiar with the area before going in to deliver here in another month. We let them know that we would have the kids with us and we were able to discuss options and how things would be handled, so that made us comfortable as well. Knowing that they are open to having them there also helped and knew how to adjust to that situation. The kids are excited. I told Kenny last night that I wonder if they can clamp the umbilical cord in three places so the kids can cut the cord too! Everyone there was very welcoming.

I'm getting some house work caught up on today and since it is raining I'm trying to keep the kids entertained. They really wanted to eat lunch outside again today, so I'm hoping the rain moved out pretty soon. Madison and I made rice krispie treats this morning and soon it will be time to prepare for supper. I'm going to have to start in on the deer burger. I am SO MISSING my beef hamburger!! Oh well, at least we have meat in the freezer.

I'm starting to have more cravings! Last night, it was about 9p and I started craving crab rangoon. I still like my pizza, though with no Papa John's here in town we have only had it once. Pizza Hut is expensive!! I'm pondering the idea of calling Marvins to see if they truly do deliver anywhere! LOL

Well, just thought I would take a break and blog a little. It's been an eventful week. Enough excitement at least until the baby makes her entry to the world!! =) Kenny is adiment (sp) that I will go early. I told mom and dad lastnight that I might just have to start a baby pool! So if you want to guess just leave a comment on the blog =) It will also be very interesting to see what I have gained over the last month when I go to my next appt, which is July 8th. I am definately feeling the largeness as my belly gets bigger and the heaviness after being up and about. It's all good though, just means she is growing!

Leave a comment on when you think baby Rebecca while arrive! This could get interesting!!

ps...a couple of pictures I haven't posted yet. Madison always helps with getting supper ready and cleaning up afterwards. It was hard for her to not help, but she did and let Jonathan help the other night. He was so happy (and even while wearing Madison's apron)!!

...first time having homemade donuts

This one of the two bunny rabbits that we have around the house. The kids have named them! This is Reese Cup (which is Madison's) and the other one is darker, which I haven't gotten a picture of, but it is Rex (and is Jonathan's). They try to entice the bunnies to be tame...
